2. What is the Duration of Pool Plaster?

Depending on a variety of factors and how well you maintain your pool, your plaster can last from 7 to 10 years. The average life expectancy of a plastered pool is affected by regular pool maintenance and cleaning. If you take excellent care of pool plaster, such as marcite plaster can last up to 7-10 years while you’ll get an additional five years on the life of your pool is you use quartz aggregate blend for pool plastering.

3. When is the Best Time to Replaster a Pool?

While you can plaster your pool at any time of the year, the ideal weather is when it is a little cold and humid. That’s because high temperatures can cause early drying before the pool fills altogether leaving cracks in between the dry and wet plaster.

Technical Review
All plans are thoroughly reviewed to ensure safety and compliance with 2012 ISPSC codes.

Pre-Construction Meeting
A formal meeting held prior to excavation, involving Construction Staff, Designer and Homeowner.

Expansive Soils
Pools considered to be in expansive conditions will be over dug 6”-12” and backfilled with gravel.

Steel Reinforcement
#4 (1/2”) Rebar ensures the strongest pool shell in the industry.

Oversized Spa Plumbing
Minimum 2 ½” suction lines, w/ separate air return ensures maximum jet pressure. Looped for balance.

Dry Gunite Mix, minimum 8” thick on walls and floor Creates the most consistent and reliable structure, 33% stronger than industry standard.

12” Exclusive Locking Beam
Featuring a 4 bar bond beam around entire pool. Any exposed structure will also be 12” thick minimum.

Upgraded Deck Structure
Concrete decking reinforced with #3 (3/8”) rebar (not wire mesh). Turndown beam down to natural grade.
